Wild Eggs is my go to brunch spot when going to downtown Louisville, Kentucky. This time it was as good as always as this location is very consistent and I will continue to come back. Best time to go is after 12PM to avoid the weekend breakfast and brunch rush.

If you're looking for a place for breakfast with kids, brunch with friends, or lunch yourself, Wild Eggs is a wonderful option. I got the Breakfast Lasagna and let me tell you, it was HUGE. The cheddar cheese on top had such a phenomenal pull away from the pancake base and sausage. Never have I eaten such lovely food like Wild Eggs. The egg theme restaurant is very funny and cute. Metal decor on the walls helps with the atmosphere. I only waited about 20 minutes with a family of three to get seated. For food, it was only 30 minutes of oatmeal, biscuits, muffins, and more. The waitress gave us water when we sat down. The service was comedically hilarious. He recommended I try the Breakfast Lasagna with syrup instead of the Mornay it comes with. He did not disappoint. I would come back here again. If you're in the Louisville area and craving some eggs, I'd say Wild Eggs is your best option.

Im from out of town and found this gem near the hotel. I like how they have a variety of options not commonly found in American diners. Everything tasted phenomenal and my server, Johnnie, was super chill and helpful. You don't need to flag anyone down for coffee either because they bring you a pot which was very convenient.

We went during a busy time but didn’t have to wait too long to get in. The atmosphere was long but we were able to talk without an issue. Service was also what you would expect for a busy time, but still the server was polite and helpful with tips on the menu. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll for the table. Its has a rich cinnamon cream cheese icing and a crispy bottom from the skillet it’s cooked in. I also had the Carolina casserole skillet and everything in it was cooked to perfection. If you like skillets, bacon, and gravy, it’s a must have. Overall, the food is worth the visit alone.

Something for everyone who likes or loves breakfast. From simple yet delicious French toast and crispy bacon to the Loco Hash with deliciously tender shredded carnitas, peppers, onions, pico and avocado.

We walked in the summer heat for 20 minutes to get here and it was worth it. I am gluten free by allergy, and they had a large menu for it. The Farmer's skillet with gluten free french toast was A1

A very good, but busy, restaurant. We stayed at the Cambria across the street and found this place during a search for nearby restaurants. We saw several lines of waiting patrons so we made reservations for our large party. The menu was extensive and had something for any appetite. Speaking of that, the portions are generous so go hungry. I had the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict (pictured) and can't say enough good things about it. Everyone in our party loved the food, service and atmosphere. If I ever return to the area, I'll return here as well.

An Unbeatable Breakfast Experience at Wild Eggs – Louisville

From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the Lex and it was an absolute powerhouse of flavor and satisfaction. Three perfectly cooked eggs, crispy golden-brown aluminum hashbrowns, three savory sausage links, three strips of thick-cut bacon, sourdough toast done just right, and a side of French toast that tasted like dessert for breakfast.

Every bite delivered bold flavor and comfort. Portions were generous, presentation was clean, and the food was served hot and fresh. This wasn’t just breakfast—it was an experience. If you’re in Louisville and looking for the gold standard in breakfast, Wild Eggs delivers beyond expectations.

Highly recommended. I’ll be back!
And my server Darrin was outstanding! Thank you!

My husband was happy with his omelet. While my grapes were tasty, they were patheticly tiny (picture included), and I was still hungry. I was prepared to be upset that our pitcher of mimosas were hardly pineapple and only enough for 4 cups, but when the bill came instead of 38, it was 24, so I let that go.

The place was good and food was decent. They don’t have any vegetarian options but you can ask them to substitute meat with something else. Overall a decent spot!

The food was comfort food, and the comfort food was done very well. We tried the hot brown here, which we had been looking for during our visit to Louisville. We also had grits with bacon, sausage, and cheese, which were excellent. They had a few unique drinks, that we tried. If you are hungry, and looking for some yummy comfort food, this is a good place to come.

Headed out early and saw some excellent reviews on this place. We stopped in and the place was busy. Didn't seems to phase anyone. Excellent service with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Tried the breakfast lasagna! WOW, that was good. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be sure to stop by.
