In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10), Wild Eggs is hatching up a “Treat Your Teach” giveaway for a local Louisville teacher. The restaurant chain is calling on community members to nominate a deserving teacher who goes above and beyond for their students and fellow staff to win a Wild Eggs gift basket with swag, a $100 gift card to the restaurant and a $100 Amazon gift card to purchase school supplies for their classroom. Nominations are accepted now through the end of Teacher Appreciation Week on Friday, May 10, on Wild Eggs’ Facebook and Instagram channels.
“Teachers are the backbones of our communities,” said Andy Abbajay, CEO of Wild Eggs. “There are so many incredible, dedicated educators that constantly go above and beyond for their students, and we want to show them our support. We look forward to reading the heartfelt submissions from this giveaway and recognizing deserving teachers throughout our Wild Eggs communities.”
People interested in nominating a deserving teacher for the giveaway can visit the designated contest post on Wild Eggs’ Facebook or Instagram pages. To enter, like the post and tag a teacher in the post’s comments, stating why they are eggs-traordinary. Wild Eggs will select a winning teacher in each of its major city markets (Bowling Green, Lexington and Louisville (Kentucky), Cincinnati (Ohio), and Indianapolis and southern Indiana. The winners will be notified and announced on the brand’s social media pages during the week of May 13.
In addition to the $100 Wild Eggs gift card and $100 Amazon gift card, each winning teacher will receive a Wild Eggs cooler with various items, including Wild Eggs swag (a blueberry pancake candle, pickleball set, tumbler, and muffins for their classroom).
In addition to the giveaway, Wild Eggs is also visiting different schools throughout the week for “muffin drops,” where they will treat the school’s teachers and staff to complimentary muffins.
