Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch near Jeffersontown in Louisville, KY

Pretty busy place, be prepared for that! My service was good and the wait time minimal. Table was clean. I had the breakfast burrito...i think they forgot to season the eggs in any manner... only the cholulu saved it! The beans were excellent, probably the high point of my meal. Potatoes are hard to mess up, but they were tasty.

Pancakes were nice and fluffy for my kid!

I really wanted to give Wild Eggs five stars because the place has serious potential, but today it just didn’t quite hit that mark for me. Overall, the food tasted phenomenal—my casserole scramble was absolutely amazing, and the pumpkin pancake was huge, thick, and rich. The flavors were bold and creative, though some bites were overly sweet and I didn’t really taste much pumpkin, so a little balance could take it to the next level.

I did have a few minor issues: I ordered my eggs over easy, but they came over hard (they were training, so that makes sense). I also picked up the Bourbon Apple Cinnamon Roll to go, but from appearance it didn’t seem to match the description—it looked like a plain cinnamon roll with pecans, and I didn’t see the bourbon apple compote or glaze mentioned.

I also tried the strawberry mimosa based on another review saying it was strong—but it wasn’t. The portion was good and it tasted amazing, but it was about 2/3 champagne and 1/3 strawberry juice. In St. Louis, mimosas are mostly champagne with just a splash of juice, so this one was much lighter on the alcohol than expected.

Overall, the flavors were fantastic, portions are huge, and the creativity is impressive. With just a few tweaks, this place easily has five-star potential.

Our server was good, but she was overwhelmed, which was bad for us. She had to cover the bar, plus some tables. Too much for one person to do a great job.

Kristi W was the great part aside from the food. Our church men's group got together for a meeting. We postponed our orders in order to speak about particulars that needed discussing. Once that was over, she was right on it with help. The service was great. Even when there was a lot of people, we still were able to get help once everything settled down. She was very patient with us while we were having our meeting.

So while we had a Great experience I am hoping that this will help our server; Stephanie! If only there were more servers like her! We had been at another establishment (we weren't sat after 13 minutes of patiently waiting) and decided to go elsewhere. Stephanie was so nice and attentive. Upon on way out, she mentioned the usual survey and a chance to win [something] but I forgot the receipt. I didn't want to fill it out for a chance to win anything but to let her management know what a great job she did!

We loved everything!! Kristi W provided an excellent customer service experience for our first time there. Our family members rave about this place and now we know why!

Food was pretty good. I got the waffle breakfast sandwich. I thought the waffles would be actual waffle batter but they’re biscuits that are pressed into the waffle shape. I think the sandwich would be better with actual waffles. Other than that, our experience here was good. The server was very nice & knowledgeable

Food is very good. This is my husband's favorite breakfast place. I tried the Potato skillet - really awesome. I also really like the Eggs Benedict. My husband likes the spicier dishes... everything we have eaten has been excellent. Not a super fancy restaurant, but food is really good. Call ahead for a reservation or you will likely habe a wait.

Tried something local while in town for Louder than Life...All 3 of us agreed we will be back

This has got to be one of my favorite breakfast places in Louisville! Every time we go we try something different and it’s always great!

What a great place for a delicious breakfast or brunch! Our classic Eggs Benedict was perfectA , especially the hollandaise sauce. Our fruit was so fresh! Best of all was our charming server, Sheena, who graciously welcomed us, gave great tips for the local area and is a prompt and professional server with a shining smile. We thoroughly enjoyed our chats as well as our meal. The next time we visit Kentucky we will be sure to stop by for some great food and service.

First time being here, we had to wait for 10-15 minutes to be seated. The line was too long, I guess everyone wanted a brunch that day. The food was good though. We substituted chorizo with turkey sausage for the breakfast burrito.

Everything about our first time dining at Wild Eggs was wonderful! Our server Sheena and Kori the manager were so attentive, and they gave us a lot of great recommendations! We really enjoyed everything that we tried, especially their Fall seasonal menu items, and we can’t wait to go back to try more!

I had never been to this location until now. Its tucked away right as you enter the heart of J-Town. Service was good per usual and the waiter was the most knowledgeable about cross contamination when I mentioned Celiacs vs gluten sensitive.

Wild Eggs is one of our favorite places to enjoy a late breakfast. We thought that we had visited every location until we stumbled upon this one. So we whipped in on the spur of the moment. The place looked relatively new. Spacious inside. The waiter was extremely polite and very fast on his feet taking good care of his customer's. One us tried something new and it was fine. Our only complaint, and the reason for only 4 stars, is the fact that it tool entirely too long for the food to arrive. It was definitely the kitchens fault. And the place had 6 tables being used inside and 2 outside, so it wasn't as if they were busy. We have been to Dupont numerous times when they were getting slammed, when you couldn't find a parking spot and people were lined out of the door, and yet they are always fast with the food. Not sure what the problem was, but someone needs to look into it. Hopefully this location can live up to the fast service as all the others. Beyond the slow service, everything else was fine.

Great food

I love the Surfer Girl omelette and this visit was no exception. Our service was great and we had no waiting. The restaurant is clean and well lighted. The only issues today my guacamole looked like it was on the verge of turning brown and my half waffle was so cold the butter wouldn’t melt. The waitress warned it up for me in the microwave but that isn’t the same as a fresh hot waffle.
