Excellent brunch/lunch spot. Walking distance from the Angel's Envy distill that's on Main. Would recommend. Great find while in the bourbon trail.

Had high expectations walking in and we were not disappointed at all. Everything was great. Our server was super nice and helpful. The food was excellent. Best avacado toast I've ever had. I don't know how they improved on such a basic dish but, the blew it out of the park.

After reading the reviews I decide to visit this place for breakfast with my family. The first visit was good, food and service were all good. The second time the toast was burnt , the syrup container was messy and my son utensils were dirty. I do recommend this place because my first experience was good.

My girlfriend and I were in town March 27-30th. We ate here 3 mornings in a row. Our third trip our server was Kyle and was not very good at all. We had to ask multiple times for things which were basic stuff, silverware, napkins, the bill. He’s was just not very attentive. Still a very good restaurant

I got the Mad Platter with potatoes and a pancake. Also got a pitcher of mimosas. It was so good. The pancake was fluffy and had great flavor, the potatoes were seasoned perfectly with a bit of crisp. The mimosas were more champagne than orange juice (like they should be) it was perfect. They were busy, but still efficient and friendly.

Wild Eggs is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in Louisville! The shrimp and grits étouffée was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The steak and cheese omelet was just as impressive, fresh, hearty, and delicious.

Everything tasted because it was made to order with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was the perfect touch and definitely worth it.

On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. If you’re in Louisville and looking for a great breakfast, this place is a must-try!

Moving my reviews over from Yelp. We've dined here most of the times we've been in Louisville over the last decade or so. Originally published 11/26/18:

Wild Eggs is hands-down my go-to place for breakfast in the Louisville area. While this was our first visit to this location it certainly wasn't our first experience with their restaurants. Yep, we fit into the "don't need menus" category.

I had my usual Eggs Benedict. I like my eggs poached medium-well and Wild Eggs is one of the only places that gets that order right. Most places screw it up bad enough that I wind up deciding to order something else on subsequent visits. Not these folks! They turn out one damn fine Eggs Benedict.

I'm not a huge fan of "breakfast potatoes" so I throw them an extra buck and they give me a pancake instead. I'm not usually a fan of big, fluffy pancakes because I think they tend to get a bit dry and chewy. Not these! Great pancake and what a wonderful use for a dollar!

First time at wild Eggs. Went to the downtown louisville KY location on Floyd St. Wife had sausage omelet I had the Wild eggs Benedict came fried eggs on top of corn cakes covered with hollandaise sauce tomatoes and guacamole with fruit and muffin. One of the best breakfasts I have had. Our server Rachel was very friendly and patient, I kept changing my mind. If you want a great breakfasts go to Wild Eggs.

It was hard to tell that it was open when we were walking up to the restaurant. However, once in the staff was very friendly and the food was perfect. It was a great way to start the day. Loved my omelette.
