Wild Eggs Crosses the Ohio River: Jeffersonville and New Albany Become Indiana Locations 1 and 2

Wild Eggs Newsroom
Wild Eggs crossed the Ohio River with its first Indiana locations in Jeffersonville and New Albany, clearing the path for Indianapolis and beyond.
What happened: Wild Eggs opened its first Indiana locations in Jeffersonville and New Albany, communities directly across the Ohio River from Louisville that had been part of the Louisville Wild Eggs guest base since the brand's earliest days. Both locations are within 10 minutes of downtown Louisville by bridge. The first Indiana Wild Eggs were not an expansion in the conventional sense; they were formalization of an existing audience.
Why Southern Indiana First
Both locations serve the full Wild Eggs menu, the same kitchen standards, the same hospitality, the same brunch cocktail program as every Louisville location. The geographic proximity to Louisville, combined with a guest base that had been crossing the river to eat at Wild Eggs for years, made Jeffersonville and New Albany the logical first out-of-state markets.
The success of both locations cleared the path for the Indianapolis-area expansion that followed, Carmel, Fishers, and eventually Pulliam Downtown in the city center, plus Avon and Greenwood completing the metro ring.
