Wild Eggs signed its first franchise agreement in April 2024 with Travis Hall, a Louisville native who has been part of the Wild Eggs system for over a decade. Hall's 4-store Lexington, KY development deal is the first franchise license in the brand's 17-year history. Wild Eggs Hamburg and Wild Eggs Palomar are both now open and operating the full Wild Eggs menu.
When Wild Eggs launched its franchise program in July 2023, the brand was explicit about what it was looking for: operators with local market knowledge, not passive investors. The first agreement validated that standard.
Travis Hall, a Louisville native, signed a 4-store development agreement for the Lexington, KY market in April 2024. Hall chose his franchisee carefully. Hall's background within the brand, as an operator who had worked inside the Wild Eggs system before transitioning to franchisee, made him the ideal first partner. He knows the menu, the kitchen, the culture.
The Lexington market made sense for different reasons. Hall is a Louisville native entering the Lexington market, adjacent geography, real local knowledge, and the credibility of the Wild Eggs brand in a market that had been waiting for it.
